What’s so hard about beyonce just reaching out to Kelis before and just being cool with her? Isn’t that common courtesy? That just goes to show that beyonce is out of touch, and not really a friendly people person. She’s in her own little world and probably don’t have many friends Its about respect

Kelis doesn’t own the song or didn’t write/produce it. Beyoncé is cool with Pharrell — it’s his song (with Chad) so they know the deal already. Kelis has an ax to grind with the Neptunes 19 years after Milkshake came out and she happened to do it at the expense of someone’s album rollout.

It’s not like Beyoncé sampled Superythug and kept it moving. NORE wrote the song and his publisher would alert him + make sure the paperwork is straight.

Could you imagine Beyoncé calling 31 artists on the phone back to back to tell them that one of her producers sampled two chords for a song with 24 songwriters

I dont agree with this at all. Pharell has like a billion hits and super well off, and he's fukkin pharell. Also pharell is like their family in music, has made music with jay z and beyonce many of times and has been a big part of their careers.
