Got this from Redbox on Friday night and just finished it. Great game with a very entertaining story, the visuals are insane. Just imagine what this studio will be able to do on the PS4 This was pretty well written with some parts in there like:
the somalian kid
the homeless chapter
most of the ones when she was a kid
finding out that ol boy was her brother
My girl even got into the game and she doesn't fukk with video games like that. As far as the ending she talked me into going with
life over death. I then chose to stay with ryan no homo
This kinda makes me want to go get Heavy Rain because I only played the demo.

i just did the chapter "The Dinner" and i did everything right and
they still didn't bone. come to find out in an earlier chapter when i snuck out and went to a bar and played pool with these guys and they tried to rape me i had Aiden fukk with them and kill all of them and that was the trauma that prevented things from going down.
I'm late as fukk and avoided this thread like the plague out of spoilers fear but I just finished the game and I'll have to spill some thoughts on it.
For the record, I absolutely loved Indigo Prophecy which was intense and well-structured from the beginning to the end, and it completely sold me on David Cage's vision for video games. The problem is that since that game he's been suffering from Kojima syndrome, a video game maker who thinks he's a movie director, and one in dire need of a story editor. Both HR and B:TS have great premises and for the most part a good story, but both games are brought down by some shoddy writing which could easily have been avoided if Cage just let someone else take a critical look at his scripts.
In this game's case, I really don't get the non-chronological order of the story. Like too many times you switch to a scene that doesn't follow the previous one naturally. The best example I can give happens pretty early in the game.
In the scene where a young Jodie first tells Nathan about Aiden, and Nathan asks if Aiden caused her scars. Jodie replies it were the monsters. I sat there with a near Banderas thinking "Oh shyt, we're about to get a closer look at the beyond" and... instead the story moves to Jodie going through a training montage at the CIA.
That just makes no sense and these struggle skips happens a lot early on. The time jumps get a lot better later in the game, especially in the way:
they built up Nathan's change of character. Early in the game they mention his deceased wife and daughter simply implying that Nathan cares for Jodie as a surrogate daughter. It's not until you see Nathan as the head of the organization and you play the chapter where a young Jodie channels his wife and daughter that you realize his true motivations and intent.
Speaking of which, the scene where a young Jodie sees their ghosts before Nathan hears of the news that they're dead is one of the best in the game.
I also thought the plot got too out of hand as it went on, mostly because the increasing scale of the action only put Jodie's development to a screeching stop. I would've preferred a more intimate, personal conflict between Jodie and Aiden (and the others) above the bombastic action sequences that sprawl the final act of the game. Regardless, when the game works, it's one of the best games of its generation, and when it doesn't work, it's still above average.
this game was great to me...enjoyed the story and gameplay...once i finished, i felt like starting it again to try out different scenarios....recommend people should play it..
And honestly they need to develop some type game play aspect. This game might be goat if you had to bust guns. So many times I just wanted to put in work with a weapon .
