I used to be one of those buy everything, play everything dudes but I cut that shyt out man. Can't support garbage or mediocre games at full price. I'm doing like my boy and I'm waitin for GOTY editions. Only coppin best of the best on first day.
Dishonored goty just dropped and I'm coppin this weekend. Glad I waited like my boy said I should, gettin' all the DLC and full game for 40 bucks
I feel like selling my gta 5(online and offline don't work) and cop this game my dude put me on to the demo the other day and i'm feeling it...heavy rain is in my top 3 ps3 games
Before I got a chance to see more of it, I thought it was gonna be something similar to Uncharted's gameplay... once it became apparent the entire game is a giant soap opera with quick-time events?
There is a scene where the girl goes to a birthday party and some kids tease her. You have the option to lock them in a room and cause events that lead to the house burning down and someone taking being stabbed. This is not a kids game. There is also another scene where you deal with a group of men in a bar trying to rape her. This game is action packed, friend.
Are you comparing a 20 buck game to a 60 buck game and wondering why there is a difference in opinion? Now i havent played Two Souls but most TWD was pretty damn engaging especially for its price.
Picked up my special edition a bit ago and this will be my last current gen purchase at full price at least. I'll pick up Batman and anything worthwhile that's not coming out for Nextgen consoles whenever they're dirt cheap.
I expected the polarizing reviews for the game since there is still people that still can't get over how Cage designs his games,i.e. Calling it an interactive movie or having no gameplay and how there are no game over screens. To me it's something different from the norm and I understand what QD is trying to do with the choices they make in how they develop their games. I've been a fan since indigo prophecy and while that and heavy rain jumped the shark in their last 1/3 of both games, what made them special to me was the smaller moments where you're basically doing nothing and just interacting with thing in the environment.
I don't give a fukk what a reviewer says, there's been a gang of games that I would've missed out on that I've enjoyed if I actually took their reviews to heart. I know what I'm getting into from the jump and know QD will deliver something special by the end of it.
