Despite their influence not a lot of people are watching cable news. Their highest rated programs are like 2 million people. Compare that to the national population.CNN is/was a turner network that was bought by warner which is now owned bt ATT...how/why would they sell this one property? I'd assume CNN is probably a money maker for ATT given our country's reliance on cable news
i mean, what's the average viewership of cable channels point blank not named ESPN...i could be wrong, but i always assumed cable news channels were some of the most watched cable channels (outside of espn and premium channels like HBO). just seems like a weird property to sell, if there's any legs to this, but everything has a prices so...Despite their influence not a lot of people are watching cable news.
