This would make it much more realistic, but I don't think he could do both.

Considering the new CBA and TV deal coming up with the NBA it might be a very smart play to leave a luxury tax situation and move into a league with a hard cap. An NFL team will have cap of $250 million and they'll get $300 million per year from their TV deal meanwhile I've heard a few pundits claim that an NBA player will demand $70 per year after the NBA TV deal gets done.
