There was a podcast I listened to a while back where the reporter worked at an Amazon shipping warehouse for a week (they didn't use the company's name for legal reason but it was obvious) and that "pick and sort" work sounds like some Charles dikkens level wage slavery shyt. They will cut your ass with the quickness and there is never ever a time you can over perform or do more because once you do, then your expectations are set higher and you're now held to that new standard. You're constantly working with the threat of being fired hanging over your head. Even if I was broke, I don't think I would ever work somewhere like that. shyt I'd rather make less in fast food or something.
shyt sounds dirty, but I can't sit here and still order from Amazon and act outraged by it and not be a hypocrite
