There was a podcast I listened to a while back where the reporter worked at an Amazon shipping warehouse for a week (they didn't use the company's name for legal reason but it was obvious) and that "pick and sort" work sounds like some Charles dikkens level wage slavery shyt. They will cut your ass with the quickness and there is never ever a time you can over perform or do more because once you do, then your expectations are set higher and you're now held to that new standard. You're constantly working with the threat of being fired hanging over your head. Even if I was broke, I don't think I would ever work somewhere like that. shyt I'd rather make less in fast food or something.

shyt sounds dirty, but I can't sit here and still order from Amazon and act outraged by it and not be a hypocrite :francis: I'll see if I can find that podcast episode.

I don't doubt it. But from what I heard, they run your ass into the ground for it. It is like they hire you and expect to fire your quickly afterward. I found the podcast and I remember there was one dude in there who was fired and then hired again and the recruiters acted like it was totally normal :why: That is how normal the burnout and turnaround was there.

edit: Listened to some of this again and I forgot they had a reporter who sounds like a woman with annoying vocal fry and they keep calling them "him". :dame:

Crazy, cause it looks like technically it's no strings attached to the money.
Van Jones came up something crazy :whew:
Dude can easily create a foundation with a couple million and keep/flip the rest while slowly "doing something" with the foundation. It ain't like these problems can get fixed with money or by one person. It's systemic issues. 10-15 yrs from now if nothing happens no one will hold dude accountable. Same thing happened with the $100M Zuckerburg gave Corey Booker, no one even brings that shyt up now
