Really???? Where in the Bible does it say that? I've only seen them nephilim discussed in Genesis.
No, why?
All I know is that a lot of religious folks are not open to the fact that there may be things purposely taken out of of the Bible, for political agendas and for oppressing certain groups of people. But I'm starting to think this is a possibility.

I think the teachings are great, but with all books, some are not meant for all, and all aren't meant for some. We don't interpret things the same because words get in the way with their double meanings and such. We can't come together with Christianity for that very reason. Are black people more or less served by accepting Christianity? I've always thought it was a feel good dead-end for black people.

Nature and spirituality are quite perfect for us because that was what kept us in line with the rhythms of Elohim and cycles. Learning about chakras, meditation, auras, the cycles of the moon and the earth...those things provide a balance for us between grounding and spirit.
good bumpBump.
Anybody read 'The Pursuit of God'?
Thanks for that man.Just thought I'd share this passage with the coli brehs in the thread:
"Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives life has set you free from the law of sin and death."
Romans 8:1-2
Just want to salute the brehs in here fighting every day to live Godly lives. It's not easy, and we all fall short and make mistakes. Just remember that you're not slaves to your old lives anymore if you're walking with Jesus. He willingly went to the cross knowing you're not gonna be perfect, and he'll still love you unconditionally.
That doesn't mean keep sinning like it's all good
Just know that as long as you're rooted in Him, his guidance and protection will keep you moving towards his purpose for you, and he'll keep you afloat.

True all of that.Sometimes, I feel like God has been perverted by man so much, that now the image of God is that of man. That is why a lot of people refuse to believe, and perhaps why you do as well.
I mean, would God's image and being be restricted to man when man is made up of all the components of the universe? We are practically the periodic table and that is also what we consume and breathe. God is all and everything because God is in all and everything. God is in us all, but because our nature swings in a pendulum, we can get the good, the bad, the in between. Same is with nature; it destroys, it creates, and it rebuilds. We destroy, we create, and we rebuild.
Know the saying: guns don't kill people, people kill people? I think that is a way of reminding us that intent behind everything predicts the outcome of everything. When your intentions are bad, that is what you produce. Law of attraction, something ancients would speak of.
