This had been a problem in Texas since Reagan passed that 1986 Immigration Bill.
Before that bill, Hispanics made up less than 15% of the total population in both Dallas and Houston. Now in 2023, Hispanics make up over 40% of the total population in both Dallas and Houston.
Everybody else are now feeling the effects of what California and Texas has been going through since the 1986 Immigration Bill.
Once, that 1976 Bill turned all of those illegal immigrants from Mexico into legal status. It incentivize others to start crossing the border illegal in hopes to one day be granted legal status.
Democrats were heavy against that Bill in 1986. But today's Democrats would be infavor of that type of Bill.

I have no problem with immigration. I have an issue with cities and people saying they'll be glad to take anyone (thinking no one would travel that far or take a bus there), and then when it actually happens, cry like the hypocritical fools they are.
