If attacking and US service people was a reason for war, Iraq and other places with US bases would be bombed right now.


US ships and service men weren't being attacked or killed; which would be reason to strike Yemen. Ansar Allah made it perfectly clear that they are attacking ships headed to Israel in THEIR jurisdiction of the Red Sea. Not only that, not a single person has been killed by Ansar Allah and their conditions for stopping their attacks were simple; stop bombing Gaza.

I'll be honest with you, I don't know everything about Yemen, but I do know that the USA is a giant, rich, powerful country and Yemen is none of those things.

So I'm watching you cheer for a giant, rich, powerful person harm somebody poor and I'm just kind of wondering what the fukk is wrong with you. This is basic morality.

The houthis have been attacking trade through the red Sea for a month. Not just ships heading to Israel either. In addition, the US sent a fleet to the area to protect global trade. For a month, the US and the UK refrained from responding. After a month of constant attacks they gave them a two hour warning that they will attack houthi positions and then attacked limited positions in Yemen.

Tbh, the west was way more lenient than they needed to. This wasn't unprovoked and it wasn't out of nowhere. Houthis does not equal all of Yemen. All this talk about them being weaker and poorer is irrelevant. They don't attack trade, they don't get a military response and if they are weaker, then maybe they are retarded for fukking with countries many times stronger than them. They are lucky the US doesn't respond like they did in the 80s with operation praying mantis where an Iranian mine damaging a US ship led to the US wiping out 1/3 of the Iranian navy.

This attack is more justified than most of the recent US military actions. It's defensive and in response to prolonged attacks and was pretty mild compared to their capabilities.
