I think in most cases it's regional. I remember a thread about solar energy and a lot of people were saying that White people are the reason it's not as prevalent and while at the TOP that maybe true, having worked in the energy industry a lot of brothers and even a few sisters without college degrees are making north of 80k a year because of the coal industry in places like Alabama, Kentucky, and Mississippi. So I can understand them being on board with that.
