Bush drew a line in the sand in 2006 and said "Israel, if you cross this line, you lose all support from us." And they obeyed him.

Biden simply has no nuts.

Exactly.

Additionally, $howing $upport doesn't have to be a full-on "all or nothing" switch.

Like man, when was the last time someone gave these guys the BARE MINIMUM?

We just gave Gaza civilians $100 mil and Israel $15 Billion.

Why not the other way around?

$100 mil is still more than Israel would've had the day before. That's not support?

How about $100 mil for both of them and another $13.8 billion for our country?
We just output ~$90 billion to everywhere else last week.
Where's the equivalent input?

Yep, Obama's rhetoric vs his actions were not the same

Doesn't matter dude. Our international standing is reflected on our words, not our actions.

If you dikkride and go "I don't take Hamas word that that many people have been killed" when everyone confirms that number is probably low, including the UN, you make us look like fukking psychos.

What was the strategic advantage to say they aren't really dying that much? None. It's something a genocidal maniac would say.

Why can't you just say "Look, Israel is our allies and we will protect them and their right to a state. With that said, stop the cap and back off so we can handle this hostage situation."

Biden is destroying his support in his own base because he is completely fine with a 4k televised genocide.

That's literally what he's doing if you've been paying attention. Publicly he embraces Israel and their right to self-defense. He uses that public goodwill built up from his speeches and visit to Israel to privately tell Israel to delay their plans so that the US can have more time to move in any necessary defenses, and more time to negotiate the freeing of hostages.

The Biden administration has advised Israel to delay a ground invasion of Gaza, hoping to buy time for hostage negotiations and to allow more humanitarian aid to reach Palestinians in the sealed-off enclave, according to several U.S. officials.

American officials also want more time to prepare for attacks on U.S. interests in the region from Iran-backed groups, which officials said are likely to intensify once Israel moves its forces fully into Gaza.

As far as him "destroying support", he'll be fine. That's primarily young people who aren't a reliable voting base. Biden's stance is actually helpful with the greater reliable voter base. Older old school Democrats, Independents and anti-Trump Republicans who actually vote, and like the shining city on the hill, leader of the free world American President type.

Obama was still better than any president in recent times on the issue

he brokered the Iran deal also which had to be against Israel's wishes

then the cheeto came in and blew it up, republicans will always be worse for this country than democrats, but Joe has been disappointing as hell this month. people can say all presidents will do this yadayadayada but this isn't the early 2000s anymore. people can see the atrocities that Israel is committing in real time and that's where their tax dollars are going. this is going to cost him a lot of votes.
