Biden is appointing jerry blackwell 60 year old black man that was one of the lead prosecutors against dereck chuavin and had a direct role in putting him behind bars is being nominated to be a judge for LIFE by biden. As a biden critic i have to give him kudos this is amazing, good to see black men getting rewarded for their work.
This job is for life if he gets confirmed, so that even if biden serves only a single term he can serve as long as he wants.
The average black person is likely to get a more fair shot with people like blackwell on the bench

Exaclty It's a lifetime assignment, they only have to play ball if they want to advance to a higher court. And even then it's not about how they ruled on a case it's about their legal opinions and who their clerks are. Fedreal Judges are free to make decisions based on their interpetations of the Constitution.
