He honestly wouldn't be that good of a SCOTUS pick anyway for one reason - his age.

For the Supreme Court you really want someone 50 or younger if at all possible, so they'll be in the position for a long time. You don't want someone that's going to get replaced by a Republican in 10 or 15 years.
