For the people that keep saying “but they won’t go after the big corporations! But they won’t go after Tom Brady!”

You need to understand the sole purpose of the ppp loan was to keep people employed during the pandemic. That means as long as the companies used the money for business related expenses and kept their employees on the payroll, they didn’t do anything illegal.

Brady already had a company and employees so him getting a PPP loan is legal. It’s not about how much money you possess personally. It’s about you not firing your employees due to the pandemic. That’s not fraud. Fraud are the people who didn’t have a business claimed that they did, claimed that they had employees, falsified records of said employees, and requested funds from the government for a fictitious business.
