Unless they change the special ed system, that's just 4 extra years of schools making money off classifying us with learning disorders

Can you tell me why free pre-k and free community college is bad?

Whos gonna pay for it? Yall dont ask questions. I seen how yall acted during the election. Critical thinking is not big on this forum. Thats the problem.

Money will be printed by the federal government, therefore slightly devaluing stored wealth which is primarily held by rich white people. The beneficiaries of the preschool/college education will then go on to be FAR more societally productive than they would need to be to make up the difference.

Why should those who don’t have children subsidize daycare for those who do?
Because if you don't have children then who the fukk is going to run the country's essential services for you when you're too old to work yourself? Either support the next generation or sit around helplessly while the country is fukked brehs.

:patrice: Aint there already a bunch of well educated ppl working in the gig economy?

:patrice: Where are the jobs for these kids?

America doesn't produce enough nurses, doctors, scientists, engineers, computer programmers, academics in all of those fields, or high school / middle school math and science and computer teachers. That's why we have to get so many people in all of those roles from foreign countries. We need to improve our education system so we produce a lot more folk in all of those careers, especially black/brown folk.

There's also a lot of availability in many of the skilled trades - electricians, welders, carpenters, etc.

Overall, though, we're looking at a future where there isn't possibly going to be enough jobs for "everyone", whether they're high school dropouts or college educated. That's why I think UBI, much more extended worker's rights, and probably even a drop in the work-week are going to be necessary.

Uhhh... we are, lol.

We already pay for almost everything. Why is it such a big deal whenever someone has a new idea? The “who’s going to pay for it” argument doesn’t make sense. Otherwise, you must think that nothing should ever change because that question could be asked for EVERY SINGLE new initiative that any politician presents.

Maybe we should agree to stop funding useless wars and occupations. Then we’d have more money for things that benefit the tax paying citizens and not money hungry government contractors.

He's literally the biggest and most obvious republican shill on this site. And he's also blue lives matter.
