I aint gonna put a blanket label on a whole group of people as oppressors when they were wiped out with our help. I will say that natives owned slaves, and oppressed us at their own or the white mans behest in cases, but to disregard what they did for runaway slaves as well as being a major aid in the first successful slave uprising in this countries history would be just dumb. They oppressed us in certain cases, but they are not oppressors
the point is, black americans need theirs first and foremost. not that I am expecting it, but if you want to do whats right that is where you start. I said that part of my heritage is Native/"American Indian". my progenitors were Moors, believed to have come out of Spain and they got land grants and other blacks, natives, former slaves married in to. in my area where we received those grants were the Tuscarora Wars. (and I have the records of the grants and my bloodline starting from the first Moor in my family up until me) the Tuscaroras was not fukkin around. they helped free the slaves in Eastern NC. killed so many whites that they were shook and my free family just walked on plantations and took wives, while the men walked off the plantation.
just like today where you have black warriors and you have c00ns. same way. some natives were with us, some were against us. Natives as a whole dont have shyt on us. if we being real, we need reparations for not just the people here, but for the crime and punishment rendered against our ancestors, being taken from the motherland and the 600 million lives lost over the past 6000 years and the last 400-500 years to be specific. and cut that bullshyt out about natives behing here for thousands of years before anyone else. there is no place on the face of this earth that anyone has been at anytime that the original man has not already walked.

I said it at least once in this thread, that ADOS reparations claim should be separate. NA are free to make their own claim. Just grouping everyone together because we all got oppressed doesn't work(see Affirm Action).

That’s incorrect based on this linked article. New York had slaves. Plus the north got paid by acting as insurers to slave owners...to be blunt, they insured US. If I remember correctly, the north made $0.40 of each $1.00 by playing this role.
