more unvaccinated people are becoming infected because there are no lockdowns, no quarantining(people got to go to work and pay their bills), no social distancing, and those people aren't likely to be wearing masks. It's simple, when layers of protection are removed you become more vulnerable.

I support being vaxxed (ive had it since February...and plan to get the booster when available)....but this posturing is too obvious. They keep pushing this vaccination while ignoring all of the other recommendations and creating this false sense of security.

This is about the economy and nothing else imo...if it were about safety...they'd mandate all of the protocols...none of this half stepping, stuttering and soft toeing.

Not at high paying positions there aren’t. Jobs that pay a lot and require intelligence have people who were lined up for the shot from the get go. Our entire exec team is vaxxed and so is most of upper management. My salary is in the $150k range and all my peers with the same position are pro vax. Even the ones who are staunch republicans.

I am one of those high paying professionals as well. l don't know too many of the high earners I work with or personally know who didn't get the vax. Them old white dudes who are managers, exec's, VPs were first in line to get that shot.

Even them high earning old white folks at the jobs who been with the company 40 to 50 years and sitting on multiple millions in pension and make a 100k salary but do blue color work at my job ran and got that vax.

A lot of folks with money weren't playing games with this covid. They trying to make sure they could retire and enjoy they money in good health.

Now the people I mentioned have backgrounds in technical fields or associates degrees in technical fields. So I am not sure if that has something to do with it or not. Cause I know a nurse who refuses to wear a mask or get vaxxed.

Anyway like I said yall be safe out there. My wife just lost her uncle to covid this morning. shyt sad man shyt is soooooo sad.

I don’t think this move is as polarizing as the media is making it appear.

A large percent of the voting public is already vaccinated. The people on the fringes who will be forced into being vaccinated or finding new work are not going to be a significant number. And I’m pretty sure they weren’t reliable Dem voters anyway.

Getting the pandemic under control is a top priority and as long as Biden doesn’t open literal FEMA camps it’ll pay dividends in the next election cycle.
