Yea my interest rate is damn near 6%. I’d refinance but i don’t wanna turn my govt loans private.i don’t favor student loan debt but canceling interest after a certain amount of years seems fair to me

Whats not simple? They had all three branches of government to get student loan forgivness passed the right way but chickened out...now millions who thought they had a financial cushion wont have that due to this miscalculation for votes
could of brought it to a roll call vote to call their bluffyeah ignore the fact that manchin and sinema wouldn't support it.
The Democrats did not fully control all branches of government prior to the midterm elections . The Dems barely held a majority in the House, and all democrats didn't agree with system wide forgiveness to begin with.
