NYT Confirms Hunter Biden Was Paid by Ukrainians While Father Was VP

:sas2:

Remember that "liitle" situation in Ukraine when BHO was in office.

Well in the middle of that situation, and a story you would only hear on alt/indy media, is the the fact that Joe Biden's son was somehow given the position as an executive of a Ukrainian owned gas company.

:leostare:

This story was all over alt/indy media, but not MsM.

That is just blatant corruption.
Hunter Biden has no oil and gas experience.
Even if he did, giving him the Ukrainian executive oil and gas position to a sitting V.P.'s son in the middle of a conflict being waged by the V.P.'s administration is Bizarro Nepotism.

that turned out to be false. nap's response was "this makes me angry" lol

meanwhile

biden has his own little kushner :hhh:

And if the phrasing of this turns out to be false as well?

You need to stop with the bullshyt. Don't pretend like Bernie can't be touched and then try to assassinate Bidena character through his son. No one is buying this.

I don't like Biden, but the bold isn't true. I like how you link to some wingnut far-right Canadian site who's sourcing Breitbart who's sourcing the NYT when you can just link to the article itself without their disingenuous framing.

Biden Faces Conflict of Interest Questions That Are Being Promoted by Trump and Allies.

But the renewed scrutiny of Hunter Biden’s experience in Ukraine has also been fanned by allies of Mr. Trump. They have been eager to publicize and even encourage the investigation, as well as other Ukrainian inquiries that serve Mr. Trump’s political ends, underscoring the Trump campaign’s concern about the electoral threat from the former vice president’s presidential campaign.

The Trump team’s efforts to draw attention to the Bidens’ work in Ukraine, which is already yielding coverage in conservative media, has been led partly by Rudolph W. Giuliani, who served as a lawyer for Mr. Trump in the investigation by the special counsel, Robert S. Mueller III. Mr. Giuliani’s involvement raises questions about whether Mr. Trump is endorsing an effort to push a foreign government to proceed with a case that could hurt a political opponent at home.

Mr. Giuliani has discussed the Burisma investigation, and its intersection with the Bidens, with the ousted Ukrainian prosecutor general and the current prosecutor. He met with the current prosecutor multiple times in New York this year. The current prosecutor general later told associates that, during one of the meetings, Mr. Giuliani called Mr. Trump excitedly to brief him on his findings, according to people familiar with the conversations.

The decision to reopen the investigation into Burisma was made in March by the current Ukrainian prosecutor general, who had cleared Hunter Biden’s employer more than two years ago. The announcement came in the midst of Ukraine’s contentious presidential election, and was seen in some quarters as an effort by the prosecutor general, Yuriy Lutsenko, to curry favor from the Trump administration for his boss and ally, the incumbent president, Petro O. Poroshenko.

Wrt your claim that this was only reported by alt/indy media, that's also wrong. It was everywhere when it was a new story.

2014,

Hunter Biden’s new job at a Ukrainian gas company is a problem for U.S. soft power.

It looked bad, but there was never anything showing that Joe Biden made a push to get his son on that board.

From the NYT story:

"No evidence has surfaced that the former vice president intentionally tried to help his son by pressing for the prosecutor general’s dismissal. Some of his former associates, moreover, said Mr. Biden never did anything to deter other Obama administration officials who were pushing for the United States to support criminal investigations by Ukrainian and British authorities — and potentially to start its own investigation — into Burisma and its owner, Mykola Zlochevsky, for possible money laundering and abuse of office."

The bolded is true I temember when he got that position and only alt/indy media was discussing a ckear conflict of interest back then.

Read his wikipedia page, Hunter Biden - Wikipedia, look at his career. There is no reason he should have been sitting on Ukrainian gas company board in the middle of a conflict.

The ethical issues *was* the story at the time. Please just stop it with the alt/indy vs. MSM stuff already. What needs to be shown here is whether or not Joe pressured them to give his son the seat, and there is nothing proving that this is what had happened.

This is just Giuliani and Peter Schweizer trying to do another Uranium One.

Team Trump pressures Ukraine (and William Barr) to investigate Joe Biden's son

‘Lock her up’ redux? Biden’s son becomes the right’s new target

"But the story has slowly reemerged over the past year — largely on the right and in conservative media — as a Biden presidential run appeared increasingly likely.

It exploded again on Wednesday night when the Times reported that Giuliani has met with Ukraine’s new prosecutor general, Yuriy Lutsenko, multiple times this year and has discussed the Burisma case with him and the prosecutor Biden helped oust, Viktor Shokin. Lutsenko reopened the investigation into Bursima earlier this year. Giuliani also told the Times that he has discussed the Biden-Ukraine case with Trump himself."

the ether
i cant wait until we nominate the best democratic nominee, instead of the person with the best chance of beating trump. and that person loses in the general :dead:

2020 is not the time for idealism, its the time for being realistic. 2020 is gonna be another rude fukkin awakening :wow:

Literally every time in my adult life a party has nominated the "best nominee", they've lost. :dead:

Kerry, McCain, Romney, and Clinton were all considered the safest, most moderate, "best" candidates for the job.

China putting minority Muslims in 'concentration camps,' U.S. says - Reuters

"Wow. Can you believe it, folks? The Democrats, you know, they're putting people in concentration camps in Jina, folks. Really bad. VERY bad. Biden kills babies, puts people in camps, it's so terrible, folks."

In the sky
Biden's son is 50 years old. He's his own man and she be judged as such.

We do this same thing with Jared and Ivanka referring to their kinship in a way to play them off as naive children and not the adults that they are.
LMAO! Yo-kay
