What was wrong with 43's officiating? The Ravens were beat up in 08 but they were still going against a Steelers team that trotted out arguably the worst offensive line to win a SB. Starks/Kemoeatu/Hartwig/Stapleton/Colon.And you've seen enough Ravens/Steelers game were as long as the starting QB's are playing it's gonna be close regardless. Beating a Broncos team on the road that was 13-3 and sent the defending champs packing the previous week? I'll take it. Not Pitt's fault SD got in at 8-8 and NE sat home with 11 wins. Maybe if they beat us in Foxborough earlier that year they would have made it in The Jets win was ugly but the Jets had a damn good defense. If anything the 1st half of that game was an aberration. They sent Brady and Peyton home in back to back weeks while playing on the road prior to that game.

The officials were abysmal. I'll find the video detailing it and add that in later. Yeah their line was trash though. I'm aware Denver beat the pats the week before. That was a team missing Rodney Harrison though and the pick Brady threw late at the goal line would have tied it if I remember right. I look at that game as an aberration though since it's the only playoff game mike shanahan won after elway and his teams usually play bad that time of year. No justification for 8-8 San Diego hosting a playoff game while 11-5 New England is at home though. Yeah that jet game was strange. 24-0 Pittsburgh at the half and 19-0 New York the second and down to the final drive. That win was a good win. Yeah somehow 90% of Ravens vs steelers games come down to the wire.

Ben has proven he can win in cold/bad wheather conditions, especially come playoff time, Brees has never shown that in his career. Ben can lead and win those ugly type of games, does Brees really have thoses type of moments in his career? Brees is more like Peyton, which he plays better when the game is in his hands and he is precised, but their games takes a hit when the opposing defenses forces them to changes their gameplan.
