Not clinging to anything. The statistic literally is true. By percentage black women are enrolled in college more than any other group.

Now sensational headlines were written after the fact. But that doesn't change the numbers.
During a two year period, a larger percentage of Black women were enrolled in college than any other race of women, in comparison to the general racial population.
That's all.
It's not a statistic that actually means anything, especially not "the most educated group in the US."
All I'm saying.

First off in your fervor to discredit the statistic you read wrong and are misrepresenting it here.

It's not during a two year period. It's out of all the people in the country period. And it's not just more than any other race of women. It's more than any group period, man or woman.

Second. It does mean something. In a world where black women are stereotyped as the chick in the OP. It's very important to point out that out of everybody is black women who are trying to better themselves the most.

Now the question is why are you trying so hard to discredit the notion. All the negative stereotypes being thrown around in here about black women, but you felt the need to correct the positive one:jbhmm:

Isnt that how stereotypes work and how the fukk did all get stereotyped when he didn't say all? Come on y'all gotta stop with the emotional chick logic. You know damn well that dude wasn't talking about every black woman with that comment now that's disingenuous
The meme that inspired the thread implies that it's all black women of a certain generation.

There is no emotional chick logic. Stereotypes are bad. Stereotypes got Trovon killed and got his killer off the hook.

You just exposed your own ignorance. Blacks have always rooted from time to time in response to systematic white racism. I'd say not nearly enough. They were rioting in the 60s.

An accurate meme calling out black men who are bad fathers would be that Cosby pick juxtaposed with the pic of a black guy with multiple baby moms or some shyt. In the case of that hypothetical, I wouldn't say shyt because that obviously is a problem. All you people cosigning the fake outrage over Big Boi posting that have are deflections. This is why shyt isn't being solved.

It doesn't imply that at all unless you want to be that person. Spare me my dude. Does it say all mothers? If it doesn't everything is up to you understand and switch up depending on how you want to proceed with your argument.

Its definitely emotional chick logic. Stereotypes are what they are and they aren't all bad. Stereotypes didn't get Trayvon killed. More emotional politics chick shyt. Take that shyt to twitter or somewhere else where people stupid enough to fall for it. I'm not at all. Trayvon got killed by a moron that was on some other shyt and the legal loopholes got him off not no fukking stereotypes. Stop it slime

I don't correct stereotypes, I correct statistics. I was a TA for a methods class and am a stickler for correct interpretations of stats. And the 9.2% is indeed for a two year period.
I'm referring to the stats the sensational articles cite.
If you pay attention long enough on this forum you'll find I spend more time correcting people than I do posting funny content.

It's clearly comparing an entire generation of mothers to another generation. There's no other way to interpret it.

Stereotypes are what made Trevon a "danger" to begin with, and they are also why the jury were willing to believe he was the aggressor.

Calling something "Emotional chick logic" only proves your own ignorance.

Its clearly not unless you want to which people with "emotional chick logic" will do all the time. Stereotypes aren't what made him a danger. Dude was on some other stuff that had jack shyt to do,with stereotypes but straight up racist shyt. FOH trying to say that stereotypes are the same a being a racist.

Saying you're using emotional chick logic isn't showing any ignorance but calling it as I see it.
