#BigBoi sparked outrage on social media after he tweeted a meme comparing mothers of the 70s to mothers today in 2016.

The meme shows fictional TV mom "Florida Evans" (Esther Rolle) from "Good Times" on the left and, on the right, an unidentified woman in a thong bikini in front of her young child.
“Mothers in the 70’s…Mothers now…And we act like we don’t know what’s wrong with these kids,” reads the caption.

The rapper's post immediately prompted backlash on Twitter and became a trending topic. “Every single day Black Motherhood is under attack and the primary attackers are Black Men,” tweeted one user. Another wrote, “It's just cute to me how Big Boi thinks moms back in the day weren't busting it open. How you think you got here? By faith? ”
"The mothers on the right were raised by the mothers on the left,” posted another Twitter user.

In response, the Outkast rapper tweeted, “I don't mind u bussin it open , but not in front of the baby ,but I guess y'all don't see the baby in the Meme. ( That I did not Create ) ”
