Question for the Uber credit for any that knows, when it expires on the 30th or 31st, do they wipe out ON the 30th or 31st, or the 1st? Asking because I’ll be using an Uber on NYE, but don’t know if I should save my credits for that date or use what I have on some Uber Eats order or something and re-up on the 1st.

Ok so I thought people were bullshyttin a bit with how people are taken aback when you whip out the gold or plat. So I was at a happy hour table with coworkers and whipped it out for my drinks and the few ladies around my end stopped their conversation and were in awe when they saw the card. I just had a slight grin and kept it moving. I didn’t know I had it like that.

Credit gurus, I have been working hard to improve my score and it has been working great.

I know time is everything when building credit but My question though is, when do I start receiving pre approved letters from the big boy companies; Amex, Chase, etc

Of course that’s not the main focus on why I am working on my credit life but I bet it feels great when you get a pre approved letter for AMEX GOLD

What’s that score that helps open some of these doors?

I never got the big deal behind having an AMEX.

I already got 40k credit limits and get triple points for purchases. Why switch?

Basically, the best consumer protection, customer service, and perks available.

I had a boy who once racked up I wanna say $5k at a strip club. The next day he sobered up and thought better of it so he called AMEX and told them his card was stolen and he had the shyt off his statement like a week later, no questions asked.

AMEX will almost always side with you, the consumer, when there's a dispute.

On top of that, you get automatic extended warranties on any purchases made with AMEX.

I mean that alone...

Plus concierge services for all cardholders.

I can confirm the Mexico City Centurion lounge is lit as fk, we had a 4 course meal for 6 adults….$0.0

The IAH lounge was just “ok”. I won’t mind making it our home base of departure ls for flights, going to check out the klm lounge though to see if it’s more secluded. We got to the Amex lounge at Houston right as they opened up, it was busy as fk an hour later.
