It ain’t hard. They giving me out 3-4 months after your establishment biz credit with other trade lines

I got the gold and it must have pay over time on cuz it don’t make me pay all in one shot even though I pay it all in one shot. I wonder if that’s a good or bad thing I have that option.

Pay over time is automatically enabled. You can turn it off if you want but I suspect AMEX wants you to leave it on for whatever reason. Even though it's enabled on mine I still treat it like a traditional charge card. I make weekly or bi-weekly payments on mine.

Certain purchases over 100 bucks automatically qualify and Amex automatically offers it if the feature is turned on…. if you treat that pay over time balance like a regular credit card the only benefit I could see is to your credit report….. I would personally just pay any Amex balance off Asap

I agree, it doesn't make sense to pay an annual fee and then pay interest on your charges as well. If you want to cary a balance just put it on a no annual fee credit card but even with that it doesn't make sense to pay interest when you don't have to. JMO.

I'm ststioned in Korea and just had my moment using my plat Amex... Went to a Cafe and ordered my drink... I hand baby my card and she swipes it... Then she says something to her girl coworker and does the whole weighing it motion with the card in her hand and they giggle, both are enamored by it... Both of them give me them vibes of wanting to talk, but they had more customers behind me. I just play it cool and act like I don't notice.

I’m heavy on the platinum card for the perks (centurion lounge)

Doing most of my spend on my navy fed card for better point value.

Yea, I wanted them to send the additional user their “bill”/charges and they flat out said no. Then the way they do the running tally over multiple months is inaccurate and doesn’t make sense. I had to just do a catch all, fortunately the time period available online is fine but big eyeroll.

I said I was not getting any additional cards until next year but I got the Apple Card….. that card is fly I won’t lie. I am not big on a lot of technology but everything about the card is minimalist fly s*. Titanium. All white. No numbers. Only thing on the card are your name, apple icon, Goldman Sachs, the chip, and MasterCard. Even the activation was cool. No annual fee is a plus. I got it just because. They gave a decent limit which they increased just for me getting the physical card and not just having in my digit wallet.

I’m on ice until I upgrade to the Amex Plat. I also joined the fb.l group so I could study the ins and outs. So that upped my decision to go ahead and pull the trigger next year.
