You could be right. But they were/are great friends too. The LL playful jab at Kane came after Mortal. So, Mortal could be about Rick too. I’m gonna revisit that question to him one day.

I always took Kane’s line as helping the dumb, deaf and blind to learn the Supreme Alphabet in order to achieve knowledge of self. Also, KRS made a diss song so MC Poet and rapper, “ya big sounding like Kane, freestyle freestyle freestyle freestyle, meanwhile, you’re looking ignorant...”
