likewise with Bose. most overpriced garbage speakers living off name. the difference is, these are products that once lived off of quality. Gucci and brands like that are more like Country Clubs. if rich (white) people say its worth this then we say its worth that. I own a pair of Gucci frames and a pair of Gucci sunglasses, but I bought them wholesale. I never owned any other Gucci item but I was gonna get some sneaks recently.
I buy stuff based on how fly it is to me. I am looking at some vapormax now for like $350. there are some other sneaks I am looking at that cost more than that. the reason why I could never bring myself to buy stuff like Gucci or some of the other brands like Balenciaga is because there is other stuff I like better thats cheaper. a lot of that shyt is sooooo ugly. if its fly its fly. like I wanted a pair of Fendi sock boots, them shyts fly, but they like $800, so thats too much for me to spend for something I will barely wear. I had a pair of Vasque gortex in the closet for 2 years and I just wore them for the first time in December when I went on a trip.

I don't know nor do I care about the intricacies that differentiate real gucci from fake. I would be pouring jelly on myself trying to keep up with maintaining such high end products in my closet so I've been good on that shyt for a minute. And, as you said, I feel like when the average person sees it, they first wonder if it's fake.
