People say the not on level shyt too much, they both on a high level.
No. There's a big separation between Big L and G. Rap. People overrate the fukk out of L because he died. Was he dope as fukk? Of Course. But you can make a case G. Rap is a top 5 rapper of all time. There's ZERO case to be made for Big L being that.

G rap naw but L did shyt like this. He was extremely one dimensional.

Nah I disagree. Everything Big L said made perfect sense. He never rhymed just for the sake of rhyming. His content was just street shyt but he didn't just say rhymes to rhyme. But he wasn't on G. Rap's level at all, that I agree with. L was a great storyteller and a very good lyricist though.

I was referring to the person who said G Rap isn't on L's level.

:what:kool g rap, of course. kool g rap is a pioneer in hip hop

kool g rap along with dj polo has 3 classic albums with live and let die, road to riches, and wanted: dead or alive to his na. then by the time big l came around they both dropped solo albums in 95', g rap fukked around and dropped a damn solo classic with his 4,5,6 album. big l was a good lyricist but he wasn't a complete artist like kool g rap was or is.
