Might have something to do with the Satsuma in Chief labeling everything other than Fox as fake news and enemy of the people...
Nah, its Facebook, Amazon, Google, controlling digital ad sphere and changing their algorithms constantly which has people playing catch up.

They are destroying journalism and no one in the government is trying to stop it.

This isn't all on Trump because Obama admin and that congress sat idle too. The internet industry needs to be regulated and those entities need to be broken up.

I'm a bit confused. Is the problem: advertisers are choosing not to advertise with media outlets and instead are only advertising with Google, FB, and Amazon?

If that's not the problem, then what is, exactly?

Maybe if Huffpost and Buzzfeed weren't pieces of shyt trash media then they wouldn't have this problem.

even though I am no fan of the big three (FB, Google and Amazon) I can't balme anyone that doesn't want to advertise with shytty media companies that don't draw in enough readers.....because they are shytty m"news" companies.

I wouldn't hardly call Huffpo or Buzzfeed "journalists"

The fall of journalism breaks my heart.

Anyone can be a journalist now.

Look at DJ Akademiks and those types.

It has become a joke now and people are so dumb they get their "news" from random Instagram and Facebook photos and shyt.

because ppl can have more trust in crowd sourced journalism than these big networks that would rather create and steer narratives with opinion based "news"

I think newspapers and certain websites try to be objective and cover both sides of the story.

I don't view CNN, MSNBC and Fox as news sources. They just give their opinions on news.

I think some newspapers and websites do try to do a good job. (I will accept some bias in all media). which is why ppl still read newspapers like the NYT and WaPo (even though it is declining).

But websites like Huffpo and Buzzfeed are NOT objective and don't even pretend to hide it. CNN, MSNBC, Fox, etc have strayed so far away from being trusted journalistic outlets that they border on tabloid theatre.

Ppl put more trust in to guerrilla journalism and crowdsourced journalism because it is raw and uncut. YES there are plenty of "fake" news and bias found there, but it is far easier to come up with your own conclusions when you can see raw video, reports, etc. in full and not just snippets framing a certain narrative.

I don't read buzzfeed at all.
HuffPo is so left and corny.

I only trust newspapers and I use NPR and other sites.

But I mainly trust newspapers as I actually have prior employment history in that field.
