The game is going to miss him.Not alot of colorful personalities in baseball.He was one of the few players that people all over the world would recognize as soon as they saw him.If i showed you a picture of top sluggers in baseball today 75% of country wouldn't be able to name them.

while ortiz has had some big moments, he's gotten the largest pass for roid use i've seen just cause the media likes him....they barely mention/bring up his use at all.....but they love to bash manny still, like ortiz wasnt right there with him for years......what makes it even more funny: the dude got caught on roids after he gave his famous 'you get caught, you should be banned for a year, no questions asked' speech...after he got caught, that tough talk changed to 'well, it should be a per case basis...i dont think i should be banned a year' lol....

Championships are more about teams. Barry is a far better individual player than Ortiz. And let's not even bring up Barry's defense and how much better that he was

Yeah I'm not saying Barry Bonds wasn't a better player than Ortiz, across the board Barry Bonds numbers are better but you Highlighted "Greates clutch Player" with a Barry Bonds pic which is laughable since David Ortiz (other than Michel Jordan) is The Most Cold blooded athlete of our generation when the Pressure is on.
