Being from Louisiana with half of my family living in Houston, Screwed Up Click was more popular than lot of New Orleans music in some places in the boot. That June 27th freestyle is what really put me on the Pokey. He was very solid on all his freestyles and tracks. Can't believe he's only a few years older than me.

SUC have lost so many guys. I remember back in 98, listening to Fat Pat only to find out he was dead already. Wtf. My first girlfriend sung "if you only knew to me" too cute.

All and all, we don't know the circumstances around his death, but that syrup and being overweight Is deadly. Lost Screw and Big Moe to it. I've lost cousins and friends to syrup. I use to sip in the 2000s when it was cheap. They promoted this deadly shyt to the upmost.

Anyway, REST IN PEACE PODIENA

R.I.P. to the brother. Heat index was 114 yesterday, triple digits even at night. :snoop:

this is beyond sad.

Imagine the trauma that people dealt with at that concert. Those right next to him or in front of him. Just the worst trauma to deal with.

RIP Pokey. I was introduced to him via Sittin Sideways. This is tragic.

Seems like the heat did him in.
