I've stayed away from listening to Chris Rivers because it weirds me out because he sounds so much like his father and because I'm gonna be shattered if he sucks.

I keep hearing good things though, so I dunno how much longer I can avoid him.

I had the same concern. But he doesn't suck at all. Lyrically he's pretty nice. Just gotta fine tune his style and incorporate the other aspects of emceeing. He's young too, like 20. So he got plenty of time to improve.

Chris Rivers MURDERED it. Lil Eazy had a nice verse and ODB's son has potential but still needs to find his own lane. Chris Rivers could be a GREAT artist if he keeps developing.

Pun had good breath control in his younger days, only when he really got overweight he struggled more. I've heard Chris spit perfectly breath control wise and also sound to breathy on some tracks. That's an area he needs to perfect consistently certainly, but it's very achievable and I think it will come for him sooner rather than later.

I think Cuban is down with him, but I get the impression Chris trying to pave his own way, Cuban unfortunately kind of blackballed so I don't think he wants the association of being to close to Cuban music wise.
