so joe crack was the first person to give B.I.G. a show so they had a longtime relationship

years later when fat joe was recording don cartegena he had this song featuring puffy




so Pun had wrote the hook you hear puffy reciting;

but Pun wrote that with the intention of B.I.G. spittin it

according to fat joe Pun was mad as hell at him for having puff do the hook

so originally the idea was to have B.I.G. do the hook and puff blocked the feature

instead puff told joe in front of B.I.G. that he would do whatever it was he wanted song wise
but BIG wasnt gonna be on it

its a shame we aint get two of the greatest to work together while they were alive

i could imagine B.I.G. recitin that hook too

Oh ok, I thought he meant Pun wrote it for Pun to spit but then because Diddy wouldn't let Joe do the album with Big or whatever that Joe was like we got to compromise in some way so Diddy said HE would get on a track if he wanted and ended up spitting what Pun wrote, which Pun was mad about cause he thought Joe should have let him spit it so it was in house, I'll relisten to that part again.
