The truth and reality is that anything Pun related is not going to generate an insane amount of cash. A series/film about Pun doesn’t have a lot of demand unless he were still alive and on one of those My 600lb Life type of shows.
His first album was a great debut and has a song that will forever get spins in a 90s rotation at party. Heck that same song might get placed in a Superbad type film. He died during the build up to the second album and didn’t even shoot a video for anything on the record.
Pun doesn’t have a Pac type legacy — heck there’s barely enough Biggie buzz outside of his best songs to drum up buzz for a revenue stream. If that were the case his daughter would be rich off of the shirts she was selling off of his likeness.
Liza is his wife and Pun’s legacy is all she got but what does she expect from Joe? Pun is the reason that Pun is gone. His lane was wide open at a time when he was contemporaries with DMX and he ate himself to death.

He used to beat her, pistol whip her and he died young and broke when he was trying to lose weight.
They were in a shelter after he died and from what Fat Joe said, she never tried to get back on her feet by herself. Just demanded money.

Pun wasn't one bit broke when he passed away.
Liza made money from yeaah baby album etc. She started spending frivolously without having a job etc..that's how and why she ended up in a shelter for 2 weeks!!

I'd kinda understand her more if it was like a Diddy/Biggie type of situation where one could argue that Biggie died directly or indirectly because of Puff's alleged moves/ beefs. But Pun didn't die because of Fat Joe's actions, he died because he ate himself to death.
