I listened to this album twice and for whatever reason it wasn’t hitting me. The music is there. It just wasn’t grabbing me.

The theme was all over the place in my opinion.

Then it dawned on me on what it was. It was the sequencing.

I went and resequenced the album and it literally sounds like night and day. Sequencing can dead ass make or break your project.

“Friday Night Cypher” should have been a bonus track.

Anyway if y’all care here is my version.

1. Story by Erykah Badu
2. Don Life
3. Why Would I Stop
4. The Baddest
5. Respect It
6. Wolves
7. Lithuania
8. Lucky Me
9. Full Circle
10. Deep Reverence
11. FEED
12. ZTFO
13. Harder Then My Demons
14. Story By Dave Chappelle
15. Everything That’s Missing
16. Guard Your Heart
17. Body Language
18. Story By Stevie Wonder
19. Still I Rise
20. Friday Night Cypher (Bonus)

I took out “Time In” because it was :hhh: and sounded like him and Jhene recorded it as a joke.

1. The album too long...period. You cut it down by 5 tracks and Sean woulda had a classic.
2. Kash Doll murdered nikkas...when she said "I used to shop at Pinnacle" the detroit in me lost it.

3. Don Life might be one of the best songs Sean ever did. I don't know why he doesn't lean into this kinda shyt more.
4. I'm not a fan of like 60% of the beats on this. The ones I do like are for either half a track or its like a 2 minute song.

All I like it but I can't put it in the same elite class of albums for me in the past couple years.

Yeah, that Pinnacle line hit me too. I only shopped in the sales section though for my Akademiks. It wasn't the same was they moved out to Oakland Mall.

I'm westside but I had cousins that STAYED at Pinnacle. Everything is butt when it's in Oakland Mall. The west was on Jimmy Jazz :russ:

I really hope Cash Kidd get a push from this. I always said he had the most potential outa the city for a while.

Big Sean and Eminem’s verses were the absolute worst on here. I liked the beat switch during Boldy James, Drego, and some of Sean’s part. Realistically this could’ve just been a totally separate song with just Payroll, Boldy, Sada Baby, Drego, and Royce. Eminem clearly went last to “go in” and the verse was BAD. 42 Dugg’s verse was ass too. I don’t know how y’all were hyping him him, he sounds like a stud trying to be feminine.

This is incorrect. Big Sean said Eminem was a last minute addition, so technically the track would’ve ended with Royce.

I say this respectfully but it appears that the majority of people who listened to the track purposefully did so to listen to Eminem, and they enjoyed his verse.

I hope so. Yeah, he's a young Wayne. Never messed with Jimmy Jazz but I guess that was more a west thing.

Off one listen I give it a B. I don’t know if it’s a Detroit thing but the production seemed very “noisy” there was a lot going on in those beats.
