But you all have some very interesting opinions about music, lol.

this shyt's aight.. just like his other joints were aight. I mean, why are we gonna pretend that he's capable of better than aight?? / aka mediocre with 4 or 5 fire tracks.

My Pops Forever RIP
The standard for the new school was set with Born Sinner, The Gifted and WMWTSO and this falls short of all three.

Jesus fukking Christ, just because something isn't as good as "the standard" doesn't mean it can't still be good. Don't b*stardize really good albums by turning them into what should be your typical average release.

This shyt was good. Not the best or nothing but good.

Lyrically this album was really lazy. Especially for someone like Sean who always has punchlines and metaphors in his features (I didn't like Sean before this album). Honestly if he payed as much attention to his wordplay as he did his flow and delivery he would of jumped up a level in my book and surpassed J. Cole. Right now Cole is a little better cause he's a little more well-rounded but Big Sean could body him on a collab.

The good parts were how well the songs were crafted where they were actually songs. The beats and Sean was about getting to the point and letting you know what he was saying. I was surprised by MILF and fukking love that song, that shyt was comedy and good execution. Overall I liked this and will check out Detroit again cause before his pipsqueak voice bothered the fukk out of me but I think I'm used to it by now. Noticed a lot of Drake influence. :salute: the Money Trees flow on 10 2 10

Well I apologize if I expected more than just a ok album I won't play again after a week from Big Sean.

Detroit was one of my favourite projects of last year and unlike most this board I do rate him as an MC but he really dropped the ball with this project and has fallen behind his peers.

He's capable of a lot better.
