Big Sean is not on J. Cole's plateau as a rapper, this isn't even a disputable fact. People think the Nas comparisons were made out of thin air when in reality, J. Cole was ripping tracks on FNL and The Warm Up, + his storytelling is impeccable. He dumbed it down for the albums but he can still go when he wants.

Not as cohesive and shyt as Detroit, sounds like a collection of songs on first listen.. But most songs are dope. But then again, I played it through the laptop speakers, so I'll have to fallback on a real opinion.

if you take the best songs from detroit with the best songs from this, he might have a solid 3.75-4/5 album
