:salute: I think nikkas are actually skimming through the album. Sean made a complete well balanced album. This is Sean's most honest body of work.

:snoop: as honest as it is, dude has nothing to say, like he has shockingly little to say. This nikka is tediously normal. Jesus this nikka may be even more normal than J Cole. He not wack, but his album coulda been 10 songs and still feel too long.

This album just doesn't have "it"... I don't know what it is, but it's just real tame to me. There's some songs that I wouldn't mind hearing at a party/club/stripclub setting, but other than that, IDK.

It's like a solid 6/10. Not better than Wale or Cole's latest records.

i think this is Sean's best work, definitely better than his first release. it's clear folks don't sit down an listen to records anymore. Sean had quite a few slick lines on here too, he doesn't force his wordplay.

Exactly. These the same people that say Sean doesn't have substance or he doesn't rap about nothing. Sean is telling so many stories on this album. This album is way more introspective and personal compared to FF.

:to:

so heartfelt

The chorus and beat are nice on this track, but how he executed the verses just doesn't fit. The first verse he starts spittin' a slow laid back flow, then ends it by speeding it up... just doesn't go well with the track. Then the second verse he went with the long winded shyt... just not good man. Basically his verses are the weakest aspect of that song.

 you think thecoli is gonna call the album dope? These the same nikkas that trashed Detroit when it came out. 90% of this board hate Big Sean. Look at all the hip hip reviewers giving the album good scores  They even got it rated higher than Wale and Cole's albums so far :pachaha:

I really don't care about hip hop reviews to be honest with you, they're never accurate. I do however remember people fuuucking with Finally Famous The Album when it dropped though..

... then two weeks came and went and people realized an album filled with singles doesn't do much for replay value..

And that's the point Sean made a complete album this time around. HOF isn't a singles based album. It's way more introspective and personal. You can see the growth in this album. That's why it has been getting good reviews so far. Hip Hop reviewers shytted on Finally Famous. They thought it was too poppy. This album isn't. You gotta judge the album for yourself at the end of the day.
