Big E could have been a world champ. He has the size, the mic work, he could have easily been a world champ. Maybe not now, but several years ago for sure
And Lashley is a no brainer. So much so that he doesn't even need great mic skills.
They've made him a joke now but there's no reason we shouldn't have gotten Lashley vs Brock

Neither one of them have the sheer charisma of Big E. If Big E were to fail, it would be because the WWE aided in doing so. You need the chance to fail or succeed to even know if either can happen. All 4 of those names got the chance. The jury is out on Big E if he ever gets the chance.
Only reason Big E never became champion is because Vince and co. had chosen Roman Reigns to be their next "number one guy" to back the machine behind, so Big E had to become the sidekick to AJ Lee and Dolp as a result. Had New Day not become a thing I have no idea what Big E would be doing today.

Ultimately this advice used to work, but isn't applicable to today's WWE anyway, as the people that just go along with the flow get punished, but now the people that show that RUTHLESS AGGRESSION and try to GRAB THE BRASS RING also get punished for trying to get over by themselves. Whoever gets deemed to be a top guy or given a big push is entirely up to Vince's random moods on any random day and he can drop them in a heart beat for any random reason.

Big Show’s locker room assessment couldn’t be more out of touch with today’s WWE locker room. The company punishes people for the most part for getting over on their own and they basically handpick who they want to be “the guy”. With that in mind what’s the point of being cutthroat and stepping on toes only for it fall on deaf ears and blind eyes. So why not just get paid and chill. Big Show also has a lot of nerve tossing shots at New Day especially after all the shenanigans he’s partaken in as well.
