At the end of the day, a lot of people would much rather say conspiracy, that way you are actually fighting against something and have time to uncover and prepare yourself, while nobody wants to think about just how fragile the human psyche actually is and how quick somebody that snaps, especially someone with nothing to lose, has PTSD, and has probably taken or attempted to take human life can flip.
