big u , suge , j Prince etc made it a thing for outta towner singers / rappers lolCheck innever seen anything so corny in my life
if you not affiliated and don’t look affiliated you have no reason to be checking in.I went to Crenshaw and Saulson. Went to Nip Marathon Store back in 2014 ---- and I didn't have to check in with anyonemy homie was with me but he from a different part of LA but maybe he was my check in
and if he wasn't with me, I would have gotten pressed immediately and asked to check in

Good to hear. I didn't feel the need to check in when I walked around the area and had lunch with my homie. It felt like we were just having a nice day out, exploring the city. My favorite part was driving around the Black areas like Leimart Park. Very historic neighborhood.if you not affiliated and don’t look affiliated you have no reason to be checking in.
Gang members usually only target other gang members… you a civilian.
I agree he shouldn't be talking that gang and crip shyt butNeither do J.Cole, Nas, Travis Scott, Talib Kweli, Chance the Rapper, etc.
you talk gangsta/crip shyt, they gonna check you in one way or another in L.A.
i respect it

Tekashi did check in. He had Hoovers (Alshawn Martin ironically the same Hoover that threatened Quando Rondo) and literal police when he was in La. Quando was pumping gas with his best friend. Can't be claiming rollin 60s and never checkin. That said, them nikkas never rolled on Takashi and he never checked in either. So I guess checking in is a Black only thing
I agree he shouldn't be talking that gang and crip shyt but
That statement in bold is part of the problem.
Yall respect this gang shyt.
It's a shake down. For a make believe organization that does nothing positive for the black community except get us to kill each other but you "respect it".

the VAST majority of people who run into issues with gangs... are people in gangs...It's a shake down. For a make believe organization that does nothing positive for the black community except get us to kill each other but you "respect it".
What kind of logic is this? They all do harm. It's actually arguable the real ones are worse because their crimes actually hurt people.I don’t involve myself in gang politics, I don’t have to check in when I’m in LA…
I respect these authentic street nikkas checkin these fraud ass “gangsta” rappers who do more harm to the kids/community than actual gangstas
I guess it's a matter of perception. You are ok with blacks requiring blacks to check in. But the requirement isn't the same for cacs who gentrify their areas and legally force them to move.I’m not. But bringing up cacs is a false equivalency
White man don’t gotta check in tho
