its not that straightforward due to discounts that they are running for bids right now and also for bids won via auction..for example i got my bids at 14 cents a pop due to this sale.
but yeah, thats generally their model. pretty smart actually
so even at this big discounted rate..they are essentially getting 14 cents for every 1 cent given up. their major downside is if they get far less bids then they expect....but i figure their inventory is low and they are advertising to bring in more customers
