haha With all those guest 16s he's been droppin, you coulda fooled me.
I wish it weren't the case, but he's been on that random guest appearance shyt since 2003. I would love to have an Andre album or another legitimate OutKast album, but I'm not expecting it to ever come.

Why?
Just listening to the thickets...
It's so Outkast.

like on that song with cudi his delivery is so weak. just kind of a mediocre effort and you look at all of the guest verses dre has hopped on and you can see a huge difference in the quality of production. dre's a perfectionist so why work with the guy if he's gonna half ass it.

Not sure I get you... Andre is a great MC and puts everything into his verses..
Not many can really compare....

Treating the big boi project separate, everything on this is top notch anyway.
the production is the best I have heard this year apart from maybe a few odd Kanye tracks.

I haven't listened to a hip hop album 3 times over in repeat since Stankonia....
on third listen now.

iis it really bad or are people mad at the LPs experimentation :youngsabo:

It's hard to tell if it's bad or good to me. I mean, I feel like I like it, but I'm not even sure I know what it is. For a lot of the album, it sounds like some indie band with rapping shyt, which usually isn't my style.

With a few notable exceptions, his last album was for the most part what a southern hip hop album. Tho it pushed the boundries of that definition, it ultimately fell into it, as did Speakerboxxx.

This isn't that at all. I don't know why I am surprised that half of Outkast, perhaps the most genre bending mainstream commercially viable rap group of the last 20 years, put out such a strange album, but I sorta am.

Basically I think I just need to let it marinate. After a couple spins I like the A$AP, Kid Cudi, "Thom Pettie" with Kiler Mike and "Rasperries" best.
