Biggest lies you believe about yourself?

Long story short. Some of you know I work in a high school. And most of these students struggle because of lies they have been told by parents, peers, etc. (Im worthless, dumb i.e)

Or just lies Satan (sorry Coli skeptics) tells them and they repeat it to themselves. What are lies you use to believe about yourself? Or lies you still believe but struggle not to believe?

Much respect to teachers. Not sure if OP is a teacher but many of them not only carry the burden of educating kids, but often building their confidence, self-esteem, and character.

It can really be an overwhelming job. Especially for the teachers who care because they take those thoughts and feelings from their interactions at school home with them.

Im a School counselor. Yes building confidence is key. Constantly have to confront their lies until they finally get it. Then they can do it on their own without their help.
