Unless the players are willing to hold out during a lockout, nothing major will probably change.
They’ve done it before. NBA players have a strong union. I still think CJ got caught up, because the players had done so well the last two CBAs. Things like this happens. The only thing you can do is next time the CBA is up is approach management with the corrections you need to make.

No they haven’t the players always cave and lose ground to the owners because most of them need the check. The NBA players union is stronger than NFL union but they still always cave.

this, but the new CBA made the penalties outrageous.

Boston basically gutted their team.

everyone scared to go over the second apron with the ridiculous penalties doing so.

@Regular_P and the NBAPA played themselves.
Damn shame

If the Saudis (or someone else with money) interested in jumping in to basketball now would be the time.

got real disgruntled NBA talent feeling underpaid. throw that money around and maybe you could actually build something that isn’t just a bunch of washed guys or dudes who are just a step below NBA caliber.

Or perhaps fans league.

It’s so weird how fans worry more about who has more power between 9 and 10 figure people (all of who give exactly zero fukks about the fans) than they worry about themselves. :mjlol:

If European basketball teams had a smart business model, they'd be inviting these underpaid talents to their team.

Instead they have no good marketing there and they can barely offer something better than NBA does.

I read news that bum ass Keneth Faried won the MVP of the month award in Euroleague. If he can do that, then so can several other mid talent NBA guys.

There are several talented players in the G League who turn down more lucrative overseas offers to increase their odds of eventually getting called up during the NBA season.

It will be interesting to see what contract offers Anfernee Simons and Collin Sexton get this summer.
