I'm talking about when an artist keeps dropping hints they are about to release something and then don't. I remember carti had brehs going '"Narcissist is dropping TONIGHT :win: " for weeks until the stans let it go. Brehs were seeing calling for Kendrick to drop for ages too years before he did although i dont think he said anything himself. Lupe been pulling stunts too with LUP-End and skulls.

This was so weird, thinking back. He went in a completely different direction, dropped Joshua Kyombo (aka Hip Hop, aka the Roc guy who picked Hov's beats and was A&Ring Nas' album for awhile) and has basically just been working with Hit Boy since. All the Hit Boy albums are dope but nothing on them matched the platform or popularity of Nas Album Done. 23mil views, that shyt was also the highlight of that Khaled album in most people's eyes.
