Biggie seemed like such a humble guy. Who The F was behind 'Long Kiss Goodnight' ?

How would he have released it before Tupac died? There were macabre details specifically tied to the shooting. The whole song was structured around it, from the title to the last bars.

Long Kiss Goodnight wasn't just some ordinary diss that maybe was recorded before Pac died and got left on the album. Biggie was bragging about the murder itself, and left clues that would make us consider whether he conspired to have him executed as an act of vengeance. It wasn't a diss song, it was a sick, twisted eulogy.

OP should be asking himself how much of a humble guy Big truly was.

The OG title was Kiss Your Ass Goodbye or Goodnight & there's at least one other version out there that we know of but Puff has that under lock & key. He made Big change the lyrics because it was too much. To me I have no doubt that Long Kiss was a diss track that he started when Tupac was alive but he altered it when he died.

hit em up came out on june 4, 1996
tupac was shot up and pretty much dead by sept 7
his tantrum lasted less than 3 months lol
biggie didnt drop any albums during that time
in the songs he did make, he threw out some subliminals.
if you dont think he was gonna response on life after death one way or the other your insane
Hit em up wasn't on an album either. Also bad boy was taking shots via bad boy mistapes. That nikka had a chance but was shook

Son Faith was already basically done wit Biggie. Which is why she fukked Pac in the first place. shyt was revenge scorned woman shyt. She was already fukkin other nikkas at that point as well.

No one could beat Pac in a fist fight..

No one dared tell Pac fukk off to his face..

No cellmate could fukk Pac up the ass..

No one could out rap Pac

And so on and so on..

These kids are ruining Pacs legacy by trying to turn him into some type of demiGod.

2pac was humble and scared in that interview
gave up thug life and gave himself to the lord lmao
dude made a double album and never mentioned biggie or bad boy once, just sent subliminals
yet when biggie sent subliminals he was scared lmao
there was stuff brewing behind the scenes on some street shyt, pac decided to commercialize it after 4 months of gassing and make it apart of his gimmick
3 months later hes dead over dumb shyt
Huh? Hit Em Up was the B-side to the lead single

Edit

Lead single released in June as you said. Always felt like I heard it earlier.

The fact u comparing PAC to Soulja Boy shows me where u at wit it. But to entertain u. Biggie was the one who affiliated himself wit SSCC. Biggie is the one who sent nikkas to shoot up Dogg Pound trailer. I'm tired of u nikkas actin like this nikka Biggie was some saint. The nikka was NOT. He made ALOT of moves that contributed to his ultimate fate. Same way PAC did. nikka coulda layed low. Shut the fukk up. And dropped his classic after Pac died. Nah. He chose to brag. Get cocky. Go to LA. Get on the radio. And talk slick. MONTHS after the fact Pac was already gone. Y'all nikkas see all this right Infront of ur face and still fall for the Biggie was innocent Kool Aid. Both them nikkas was young. Both them nikkas was talented. Both them nikkas was damn near pawns in true snake nikkas schemes. Both made bad choices. And both suffered for it. The end.
All of this is true however, the initial origin of the beef is all Pac. Biggie and Pac beef only started because of Pac. Literally he was the main the culprit and caused the tension, whether or not Suge put the battery in his back or not, if Pac says nothing about Biggie, there is no beef. Pac was acting like a lunatic. Biggie didn't handle it great either (Making the diss records, going to LA months after Pac's death) but him being pissed at some guy that was suppose to be cool with him, dissing him, because he has this big conspiracy theory shyt he made up in his head and through hearsay, makes sense. Pac could've merely talked to Biggie and get his side but instead chose to run with emotions, forth hand info from jail house snitches and Suge Knight

Like I said. Biggie was doin funny shyt aside from the Pac shyt. The shyt he did wit DPG for instance. Pac was a lunatic n all that. That's in ur eyes. Biggie was actin like a snake tho. A slimy nikka who do shyt and hide his hands after. All that shyt u said Pac did is cancelled out after Pac died. shyt. Pac himself stopped goin crazy hard at Biggie toward the end. He shifted his focus more on Diddy and Henchman n them. Pac wasn't acting like a lunatic. The nikka was tryna piece together a puzzle in real time and was paranoid. When he died. Biggie chose his own fate. PERIOD. That shyt was HIS own fault. He died cause of how HE was moving. U could blame Diddy for Biggie's death more than Pac.

No doubt but can you blame him fam? I can definitely admit it was poor judgment & terrible taste to do it though but I can't blame him for feeling a certain way about it

Can I blame him for feeling a way? No. But the fact that when Pac was alive he choose to crack joke's on his own wife rather than diss him. Then comes back with a diss track on a dead man. THEN perform it on the radio in front of LA and some "I won you lost" shyt. nikka was pouring jelly on himself. I'm just tired of this "Biggie was an innocent child" shyt that people pull wit him. It's just as bad as people actin like Pac was this immortal prophet.

DPG thing was after the Pac going at him though. It all goes back to Pac starting it. No matter how you slice it. And yes Pac was indeed acting like a lunatic. He was going off hearsay and jail house snitches and emotion. He could've simply had a discussion with Biggie and Diddy instead he chose to go with what he heard from forth party sources that he didn't know at all.
