Biggie would've been 40 today. Where do you rank his catalog?

Having a "catalog" kind of entails that you have an extensive amount of work. Biggie has 2 albums. Both dope, but still, that aint enough to be in the "best catalog" discussion. Thats like a boxer who had two fights then retired having his career compared to n!ggas with 50 fights, can't do that

1. the albums are not flawless
2. you can't compare the library of someone with 2 albums to the library of nigs with 10+ albums, thats not fair either way

it's about quality not quanity

2. his albums had more of a impact on hip hop

then say a jay-z who has like 10 albums

quantity is what a catalog is about fam, aint that what we talkin about? biggie's discography is two albums deep. and jay-z has had a far larger impact on hip hop than biggie smalls, i dont think thats even debatable

to each his own fam

to me it is about quality because i love jay i think he one of the goats

but to compare him to biggie is kind of not fair because fell off biggie did'nt

biggie could have put put a trash album with life after death
but he did not because life after death is considered by most nikkas to be a classic album and far as impact go biggie had a way more of a impact
he is the most quoted artist ever.
