Big was snitching

Interesting read.
I wonder why he waited so long to tell the story or was it no one had really asked him?
most drug dealers in new york..came from north carolina which has always been funny to me..You probably know some dudes moving work and "hustling" and don't
even realize it.
It's not that hard to believe, I mean,I keep my nose clean and stay outta
of it but I'm a phone call away from people movin weed, narcos etc.
So to hear about a rapper doing it at the height of the illegal drug trade
at a time where urban decay was even worse and drugs exchanges weren't under
so much scrutiny doesn't surprise me.

We get that but this isn't stories about random trap rappers, this is a story about BIG who never has had his street cred questioned by anyone in the industry that I know of. So why would we begin to question it now if no ones stepped up to say otherwise? It may not be 100 percent factual but it lines up with the Biggie Smalls persona. It just offers a different perspective in all the things that made him who he was and impacted his artistry.True. But i still believe alot of artists really have "managers" (or similar) do it while using the loot from the drug trade to start
management companies/labels & all that & at most alot of these artists are just that - nickle & dimers/watch-ees/holders. Then of course some use those labels to..you know the rest.
I never said its impossible. Im just saying dont be so quick to believe the stories. These guys are in the ENTERTAINMENT BUSINESS. Rap craves alot of "credibility" which is why alot of people feel the need to prove something or act certain ways if it'll give them that stamp so their audience can feel 'em &/or relate.
Is that really too far off to believe, in my case? Cuz people have said & done worse in the world so i dont think these things would be a reach.
And also, rappers are poets. Beside what i mentioned above, street cats let them be their voice. This isnt uncommon in the music business. That Anthony Mason story is a prime example, again speaking on Biggie. That was really Henchman & them. And what did Henchman and them do, around Puff/Biggie? I rest my case... Wasnt it Sanatra running around with mafias at one point?
How many artist have been about them "rapping/singing about their uncle/brother/father's lifestyle & story"?
Just in time for the "Bad Boy re-union" tour huh? Lol.
Be gullible. Regardless if this was made years ago.
No diss to Biggie tho. They're artists. Thats it. Nickle & dimers here & there
but most have these "stories" about them too & gullible people eat them up quickly cuz they wanna believe it.
Only a small select few actually lived a criminal life or even interacted in it like that.
It says in the article this guy reached out to the writer and another writer. Check your pm's by the way, pause no homo.

Nah G, it really is like that down south. You really do get big money if you hustling with the right people especially if you have the block on lock. My boy did that to get the studio he was dreaming of and within 2 months, he got the $50,000 studio that he was longing for. Not to mention we was eating good cuz of him, always taking us to these steak houses and expensive sh*t, def accurate.![]()
no way you believe that. I dont follow anybody's image or "rep", i just love the music & feel what they're saying. But
its been known Biggie was just rapping. Actually the same regarding the boy in your avi.
Word. Is it still like that out there? I never sold drugs so im not gonna act like i know about whats poppin or not in the field.
