After a while your butt gets used to the road bike seat and shouldn't hurt. Then again I'm female & it may be different for guys. I know my dad and brother always wear the biking spandex shorts with the padding in the butt. Idk how serious y'all are planning to get tho. I have a pair with the padding in the butt but they are long spandex and only use em if it's cold

im plannin on getting into it heavy......but i aint wearing them shorts.

Chick told me to just wear them under my clothes....i went to store looked at them for 5 seconds and just settled on copping a bike cushion.

day one on that bike............why the f is that seat so uncomfortable!

man im scared to get back on there cause of how sore my ass is right now...........NO HOMO

Get a better seat. I got a brooks seat but it came with my bike already broken it. Or your could get a seat cushion. Give your body time to get used to it and youll b straight.

Also watch your posture that could give you release.

this what the nikka told me...

a road bike is for racing......those thin ass tires aint meant for everyday cycling on these rugged ass city streets.........

a mountain bike is meant for off roading so speed riding isnt its priorty.....

a hybrid takes features from a road bike and a mountain bike and supposedly makes it something ideal for city riding...

I copped a 2013 trek hybrid off his recommendation. But yo, if riding a road bike is any less comfortable on streets then this one is..........that shyt must be a nightmare to a nikkas ass. I was riding this joint down a steep ass hill this morning and i really believe that if anything bigger then a peeble would have went under my tire i wouldve have went :cape: over my handle bars.....

that shyt felt so unsafe man.............

:gladbron:Going down hills is the bizness

Love biking. Only problem is the hills in my city, but it's whatever. Biking will have your endurance right. Right now I got a decent mountain bike my parent's friends gave me when they moved.

But like 6th-7th grade the BMX bike I had, back brakes ain't work and the front breaks only half worked :leon: still alive though, and I rode that shyt everywhere :myman:

I bike also and I have a Trek 7.2 fx. By the way you don't have to get tight biking shorts because they make baggies also.

Copped a MTB last weekend. Almost died yesterday after taking a ride in 98 degrees, :bryan:

Here's what I bought,
