For years conservatives have complained about the Clintons’ dirty campaign tricks.

Now it looks like even liberals are getting sick of them.

Supporters of Democratic presidential hopeful Bernie Sanders have filed a lawsuit against former President Bill Clinton in Massachusetts court, claiming he broke the law to help deliver the state to his wife earlier this month.

According to the lawsuit filed by a group called MA Sanders Voters and Volunteers Disenfranchised by Bill Clinton, the former president engaged in a number of illegal activities, including openly campaigning at polling stations.

Critics had previously complained that Clinton’s actions and appearances at polling stations (especially in areas that favored Sanders) created long delays and kept many voters from casting their ballots. And that may have made a real difference in a state election that Hillary Clinton only won by one percentage point.

“With 100,00 undecided voters and a margin of victory of only 16,800 votes, it is eminently plausible that Bill Clinton impacted the final result,” the lawsuit claims.

The suit was filed Wednesday in the Boston Federal District Court, and asks the judge to invalidate the state primary results and hand all of the delegates to Sanders.

If that happens, it could significantly tip the balance of the 2016 race.

The lawsuit follows a petition calling for the arrest of Bill Clinton that has gotten more than 120,000 signatures.

While Bill Clinton and the Clinton campaign are likely to fight the suit, it may prove a challenge. A draft of the suit appears to contain photos showing the former president doing much of what is alleged.

Hate the term, but it is true, from what I've seen this election. The crazy thing is that some of the honest on Wall Street actually prefer Sanders for stability, and I know they want to say that insurance premiums fukk up their compensation a lot of times. No one really needs a "Cadillac" plan in the hospital, just more hospital space. You can do all that fancy shyt with your rehab money.

Hours after he went inside polling locations in Newton and West Roxbury and was photographed posing with Boston Mayor Marty Walsh and a Democratic ballot, Clinton visited a polling place in New Bedford and was filmed nearby stumping for Hillary Clinton with a megaphone-wielding Mayor Jon Mitchell.

"“I haven’t seen one person be able to come in and be able to vote in here,” says one woman narratinga video of the scene, posted Tuesday afternoon. “It’s completely blocked off. No cars can park here. They are affecting the voting at this poll. It’s ridiculous. This should be fraud, and illegal.”"

NewsCenter 5 reached out to Brian McNiff, spokesman for Massachusetts Secretary of State William Galvin, for an answer.

"No one was prevented from voting," McNiff said about the New Bedford event. "The city and voters were notified well in advance of the event."

Additionally, Galvin is quoted by the New York Times as explaining that poll workers were warned in advance of Clinton's arrival. He told the newspaper that they took the extra precaution because, "You don't usually get a president doing this."

McNiff also clarified that Clinton broke no laws during his visits to the interior of polling places because he was not handing out any flyers or voting materials for Hillary Clinton. He was seen shaking hands with workers in West Roxbury, but not handing out information.
